The Cancer Project is a department within the Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine, a nonprofit based in Washington, DC dedicated to the promotion of preventive medicine through innovative programs and encouragement of higher standards for ethics and effectiveness in research. More specifically, The Cancer Project’s work focuses on advancing cancer prevention and survival through nutrition education and research. Its core offering is the Food for Life nutrition and cooking class program, a community-based initiative to support the adaptation of plant-based diet for disease prevention. We have resource literature available for download / postal mail order on our website to support these positive dietary changes.
