Certified Nutrition Specialist with over twenty years of experience. Carolyn Katzin’s graduate degree is in Nutritional Sciences from UCLA’s School of Public Health. She continues her nutritional science education with certificate courses in nutrigenomics from University of California Davis and NuGO and annual attendance at the Future of Genomic Medicine presented by Scripp’s Translational Science Institute and J.Craig Venter Institute. Certificate in Preventing Childhood Obesity: an Ecological Approach from Cornell University, Division of Nutritional Sciences, 2009. A member of the American Cancer Society California Division Board of Directors (Immediate past chair) and Los Angeles Regional Council. She is current representative of the Society for the California Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. Ms Katzin serves on the UCLA School of Public Health Dean’s Advisory Board (Chair 1999-2005) and the Cancer Support Community Benjamin Center’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Board.

A certified yoga and massage therapist, Sara Zuboff started Peace in Practice out of her devotion to helping people achieve a healthier lifestyle. She has worked in physical therapy for six years, creating health programs for people recovering from a myriad of ailments; Guillain Barre, Breast Cancer, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, & Pelvic Dysfunction. Diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in 2010, Sara became even more passionate about sharing the life enhancing tools that yoga therapy can provide.
